1. Consistency of customer contacts directly with both existing customers and potential customers. 2. Assist the SSM & DOS in developing the Sales plan and budget preparation. 3. Keeps a good record of the top 20 accounts from the above sectors and establishes the business. 4. Handle corporate segment and ensure the production of room nights. 5. Responsible for achieving yearly revenue targets for both Rooms & Banquet. 6. Create a target account list and provide strategies for account acquisition. 7. Represent and promote the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base locally and internationally through Customer Relationship Management. 8. Conduct market research on the competitors. 9. Professionally conduct site inspections of the hotel facility. 10. Conduct Sales Calls to the domestic market and secondary cities for account development. 11. Identify and handle sales lead effectively and efficiently. 12. Represent the hotel and participate in domestic and international sales activities. 13. Contribute and being creative to product and sales development. 14. Fulfil Customer Relationship Management responsibilities and sales goals for defining customers through planned customer interviews. 15. Monitor and report on market and competition within the own market segment. 16. Prepare and update customer management reports and ensures all necessary follow up work is carried out on time. 17. Active distribution of product information and creates awareness in the markets, and business segments or responsibility. 18. Active in participation and submission of reports at sales meetings. 19. Assist in planning and coordinating sales activities and events. 20. Manager account base and maintain all customer information up to date manually and electronically. 21. Provide on-going advice and support to staff under his/her supervision. 22. Undertake tasks as and when requested to fulfil the sales objectives of the hotel. 23. Abide by both the hotel and brand policies and procedures. 24. Analyses evaluate and improve personal performance continually. 25. Carry out other tasks as directed by the Director of Sales. 26. Manage both room & function of corporate accounts 27. Propose new campaigns, promotions, collaterals & ideas for hotel and F&B outlets Requirements: • Knowledgeable and able to lead all tasks within the area of responsibility. • Experience and skill in Internet and other major computer programs. • Able to use the Sales and Front Office computer systems. • Knowledgeable in a specific market segment (WHO or COR) • Understand the market and competition. • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese • Good computer skills • Knowledge and understanding of RMS & Sales Force • Good interpersonal & communication skills. • Able to work independently and as a team. • Have a high degree of professional integrity and be able to work in a prudent and organized manner • Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment Ability to work flexible hours, covering evenings, weekends, and holiday periods
